Perot Development Co. has shared its plans for the creation of DFW Park 161, a 2.4 million-square-foot industrial campus located in Irving.

According to the Commercial Property Executive, the industrial park is strategically placed at 5150 State Highway 161, just across from a DART station. When completed, the DFW Park 161 will consist of four state-of-the-art buildings constructed on 196 acres at the east end of the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport.

According to developers, business people will not have a hard time finding the park from the airport.

Beth Bowman, who is the president and CEO of the Greater Irving-Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce, says the location is paramount for industrial development.

“Irving-Las Colinas’ premier location, unparalleled global access, and a strong educated employment base makes our community a desirable location for industrial, commercial and residential development,” Bowman told Commercial Property Executive.
