The Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas has partnered with Prosperity Bank in awarding three Texas nonprofits approximately $94,000 in grants to fund operational and administrative activities of the organizations.

The largest grant went to the Texas Association of Community Development Corporations, which received $36,000 according to a release on the Federal Home Loan Bank website. The grant is expected to help fund expenses related to “training, research and services for practitioners in the community development field,” according to TACDC Executive Director Matt Hull.

Bridge Path received the second-largest grant award, and the $30,000 the received is expected to help fund financial consulting and mentoring for low-to-moderate income residents and business owners.

The final $28,075 went to Credit Coalition, and will be used to support financial and home buyer counseling in Houston and Beaumont.

Money for the grant program is provided through a member bank contributions that are matched 5-to-1 by the Texas Association of Community Development Corporations, according to the release.
