City of Duncanville recently issued the following announcement.
Dallas County Elections Administrator, Michael Scarpello, reminds eligible voters that the Constitutional Amendment and Joint Election is Tuesday, November 2, 2021.
All qualified voters in Dallas County may vote in person at any one of the county’s 443 vote center locations on Election Day between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. A list and a map of Election Day vote centers can be found at www.dallascountyvotes.org.
The Dallas County ballot will have 8 State of Texas propositions. In addition, the cities of Lewisville, Mesquite, Richardson, Sachse, Wylie and Highland Park ISD will also be voting on their own propositions. The City of Glenn Heights and the City of Mesquite will have special elections to fill vacancies. Visit www.dallascountyvotes.org to view a complete sample ballot.
Voters must present an acceptable form of identification in order to vote. ID requirements can be found at https://www.dallascountyvotes.org/election-day-voting/what-do-i-need-in-order-to-vote/
“When going to a vote center, voters should look for our new ‘Official Vote Center’ signs,” said Elections Administrator Scarpello. “These new signs were purchased recently to replace our old ‘Official Polling Place’ signs, which were acquired before the County’s move to vote centers in 2019.”
