Due to continued power outages on our campus and all over Austin, Trinity and Blue House Preschool will remain closed on Friday, February 3.
We decided to remain closed after assessing campus conditions such as power availability, internet access, and extensive debris caused by this week’s inclement weather. Additionally, multiple surrounding districts are closed tomorrow, which creates childcare issues for many of our teachers.
Our staff will be hard at work throughout the next few days to restore systems, clear debris from important campus entry and road points, and prepare for both campuses (preschool and K–8) to reopen safely.
We hope this extra day will give our families and staff the time they need to get their homes back in order and power restored. We will resume normal classes and activities on Monday, February 6. If this plan changes, we will let you know via text, our website, and social media. Please stay safe and warm, and we hope everyone impacted will have their power restored soon.
